Partner Jeffrey Kwong has been selected by the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges (“NCBJ”) as a Presidential Blackshear Fellow for 2022.  The Fellowship is awarded to between one and five diverse bankruptcy attorneys who deserve “special recognition for their professional accomplishments to date,” and show the “potential to distinguish themselves in future years as highly respected members of the bankruptcy or debt restructuring bar.”

Among other criteria, nominees for the fellowship must “display a serious commitment to principles of civility, ethics and professionalism” and “demonstrate commitment to the continued educational development of bankruptcy professionals and to professional activities that will benefit the public, members of the bar and the court system.”

Fellowship recipients are invited to participate in the October 2022 NCBJ meeting that will take place in Orlando, Florida.
