Edward M. Wolkowitz has been a bankruptcy attorney, trustee and receiver for more than 40 years. Prior to its merger with Levene Neale, he was the managing principal of Robinson, Diamant & Wolkowitz, in Los Angeles. He is equally adept in representing debtors, creditors, trustees and other parties involved in bankruptcy cases and has repeatedly been included on the “Super Lawyer” list in region-wide peer surveys, an honor bestowed on only 5% of California lawyers. He is also AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
Mr. Wolkowitz has been president of the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum, a member of its Board of Directors and a member of the Board of Editors of the California Bankruptcy Journal. He has also served on the Executive Board of the Financial Lawyers Conference and is on the faculty of Southwestern Law School. Between 1994 and 2002, he served on the City Council of the City of Culver City, California, and was elected Mayor of Culver City in 1996 and 2002. Mr. Wolkowitz received his law degree, cum laude, from Southwestern Law School and his LL.M., from The University of Michigan Law School.
