Film Finance Inc. and several related entities (“FFI Debtors”) filed their bankruptcy cases in the Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on November 4, 2024. The Court recently authorized the FFI Debtors to obtain debtor-in-possession financing in the amount of $8 million on a final basis. In addition, the FFI Debtors’ “prepetition lenders have formed an entity to serve as [the] stalking horse bidder, named Film Services International LLC, that proposes to buy the company in its entirety and keep its management in place.” During a December 2024 hearing, the Court approved sale and bidding procedures, and has scheduled an auction of the FFI Debtors for January 9, 2025. The sale hearing is scheduled for January 21, 2025.
The FFI Debtors are represented by LNBYG attorneys David L. Neale and Krikor Meshefejian.
