Carmela T. Pagay specializes in the representation of debtors, creditor committees, and Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 trustees, and bankruptcy litigation. Ms. Pagay received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. Ms. Pagay is admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Central, Eastern, Northern, and Southern Districts, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. She currently sits on the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles Foundation Board of Governors, and is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Los Angeles County. She is also a longstanding editorial board member of the Los Angeles Lawyer magazine and was its Chair for 2020–2021.
